The Georgia State Assembly Foundation was established in 2017 with an initial donation from the GASA Board of Directors. The Foundation receives money from our marketing table income at meetings, as well as from hospital and vendor table rent at our meetings. Since its inception, the GASA Foundation has donated approximately $10,000 to worthy causes.

The Foundation sponsors a charity project in the local area of each meeting. Our projects have included:
-
The Haven battered women's and children's shelter in Valdosta
-
Gwinnett County Veteran's Resource Center in Lawrenceville
-
Genesis Joy House female veterans homeless shelter in Warner Robins
-
Home Port transitional housing for homeless veterans in Macon
