About the event
The Southeast Surgical Technology Education & Workforce Conference is a weekend professional development, recruitment, and technology‑focused event hosted in Jacksonville, Florida. The event is sponsored by the Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama state assemblies of the Association of Surgical Technologists.
This event will combine interview‑ready recruitment opportunities, hands‑on technology experiences, and in‑service educational presentations conducted within the hospital facility and/or simulation lab environment. By sponsoring this workshop, the organization will showcase its commitment to innovation, education, and workforce development while attracting future surgical technologists for internships, externships, and employment.
Expected outcomes include:

50–100 student participants
20–50 on-site interviews conducted
